Lidl security guard ‘bitten, punched and kicked in head’ at store

A Lidl security guard was allegedly bitten, punched and kicked in the head while on shift at work. On Saturday (September 4), police officers were called to Lidl Park Parade in Havant to reports that a security guard had been ‘violently’ assaulted. According to officers, the guard had been bitten, punched and kicked in the head by a man.

The man now remains in custody, police have confirmed. In a statement posted to Facebook, Hampshire Constabulary said: “There has been much speculation on social media which is incorrect. Thank you to the public who recorded the incident start to finish; your recordings are very helpful – If you are a witness to this incident and saw it in full & might be able to assist further please contact us.”
